Admission Procedure
Admission to Montessori
Application form must be submitted at least by June for the oncoming academic year, and thereafter the student along with the parents will be called for an interview. Entrance will be on a first come first serve basis.
Admission to College
Parents of existing UKG students will be notified to respond their willingness to admit their children to grade 1 in advance. Upon submission of an application and payment of relevant admission and other fees, the child will be enrolled for the new academic year.
Parents wishing to enroll their children to Grade 1 from other pre schools should submit an application by June. Thereafter they will be called for a written and oral test. Depending on their performance, they will be called for an interview. Upon payment of relevant admission and other fees, the child will be enrolled for the new academic year.
Admission to any other grade
Parents could enroll their children to other grades by inquiring from office. Upon submission of an application, there will be an oral and written test to evaluate the standard. Based on the performance, parents will be notified to submit the leaving certificate, character certificate from the previous school and to pay the relevant admission and other relevant fees.
All parents at the time of enrolment of their children should submit c copy of their marriage certificate and original of the child’s birth certificate along with other documents requested by the office.
Age Range
Montessori admissions are encouraged for children from 2 ½ years. There are three age groups in the Montessori section as follows.
Playgroup – From 2 ½ to 3 years
Lower Kindergarten (LKG) – From 3 years to 4 years
Upper Kindergarten – From 4 years to 5 years
For Playgroup, children can be admitted at 2 ½ years or before, depending on their date of birth. When they progress to LKG and UKG, they would fall in with the school academic year which is from January to December.
Dress code
Montessori
Montessori dress consists of the white t-shirt with school logo, blue shorts for boys, blue divided skirt for girls, white socks and black shoes (Velcro type).
Grades 1-5
The dress code consists of white short-sleeved shirt, tie with school logo, blue shorts for boys, blue divided skirt for girls, white socks and black shoes (Velcro type).
Grades 6 – 7
The dress code consists of white short-sleeved shirt, tie with school logo, blue shorts for boys, blue skirt for girls, white socks and black shoes.
Grades 8 and above
The dress code consists of white short-sleeved shirt, tie with school logo, blue long trousers for boys, blue skirt for girls, white socks and black shoe.
The uniforms should be purchased from the school book shop in order to maintain the standard.
